WANTED: Columbia Grafonola Model 200 Parts

Post by Oceangoer1 »

For the machine in this thread.

http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... =2&t=29025

I need a:

-Motor (believe it will be the earlier type like on the Model 50, but gold plated. I could work with a nickel one though.) Not sure how many springs it will be. FOUND

-Tonearm, gold plated (and reproducer if you have it, but I have one that I could possibly use)FOUND

-Horn (I will get measurements soon of the opening but I will need the wood part and the metal part.FOUND

-Louvre hardware (I have the louvres themselves, but it seems like there is a bar or control that moves them from the side of the cabinet)

-Record box knobs and letters A,B,C,D (would love to have originals)

According to Baumbach & Lackey, the 200 was a continuation of the "Deluxe", and used their top grade four spring motor.

UPDATE: I have found every part that I need except the louvre mechanism.

I have the louvres, but I need the pivoting rods that move them. It should have holes for 5 louvres.

Also would like to find the original record box letters and their knobs.
