FOR SALE: Edison c-2 radio/phonograph parts - INQUIRE

Post by Dustie89 »

Just picked up a Edison c-2 radio phonograph combo. If someone needs parts let me know. I am also looking for parts. I'm caught between restoring it or parting it.

What are you missing? There was an Edison C-2 chassis out on Missouri a few months ago. It had a speaker, the motor and turntable, and the cabinet. It was missing the radio and the amp, if I remember correctly. If you need details, please contact me at: garret.girmus "at" gmail.com

I have a friend who is looking for one. Just how rough is yours?

The have been cut off, but the turn table and radio is still there. Speaker is trashed. I would like to get another and put one together. I heard they are scarce.

Admittedly this is a very old string, but I just turned up a quite nice Edison C-2 cabinet, missing its electronics and turntable and tonearm, but with a nice complete set of all 4 albums and the wood-and-wire-screen back cover. Wood is in nice shape with no major flaws.

There's a speaker in it but I don't yet know whether it's the correct original. Probably not.

So if any of you readers acquired any of the bits described in this thread - or have a C-2 needing a new cabinet (or a C-1 or C-2 needing albums), drop me a line.

No prices yet, and I can post pictures this weekend if there is sufficient interest.

Thanks.
