I play mostly acoustic records and so I mainly use the following:

2M & 4M wax cylinders - Edison Fireside, K reproducer, cygnet horn
Indestructible cylinders - Edison Home, O reproducer, cygnet horn
Blue Amberol cylinders - Edison Opera, Diamond A reproducer
Diamond Discs - Edison C250 Chippendale lab model
78 rpm records - Victor III, Exhibition reproducer, petal horn
Pathé vertical-cut records - Pathéphone No.4

When I play electric 78s I just use a couple of "modern" turntables.

The machine that I take to family gatherings, set up in the driveway for the 4th of July, and other occasions where I travel with a machine is a Model B Gem with 2&4 minute gearing. It plays a complete four minute cylinder without fail.
