so I'm parting this phonograph out. The description is from my eBay where I'm currently selling it from. "From a family estate. The Columbia type a Graphophone was introduced in 1897 and is one of the earliest cylinder phonograph machines you will come across. She includes the original reproducer and slip on crank as well as case. The wood Case has apparently been restored at some point with a shiny finish. Some veneer loss to bottom but nothing major. Some loss to bottom half of decal. I don't believe the horn is original to this machine and it is dented and has paint loss. She does wind up and works well. Sound is typical on these early machines and of course is not super clear when playing a record, of course it also depends on the condition of the record.This is local pickup only. I take cash or check on time of pickup.
