Worth of A Reproduction Mikkyphone

Post by RolandVV-360 »

What would be the worth of a reproduction Mikkyphone? This one below would be a prime example.

PHONOGRAPH, n. An irritating toy that restores life to dead noises. -Ambrose Bierce

Since it is listed at $139, obviously that is what the seller thinks it's worth.

If you want it and think it's worth $139 and would buy it for that, then that is the actual market value... If you are asking whether it has any more value than that to any other collector, I would say NO, it is only worth what you would be willing to pay...

I haven't seen one in person, but they look like they are made like the originals and that would make me hesitate buying one that someone claimed is legitimate. In my opinion this results in a downward value for originals...

Haven't they been selling on Ebay for some time? I'd check completed listing. Jerry B.
