I have a Brooks Repeater upright, complete and unrestored, if anyone wants to play around with one. It needs restoration so it can go at a cheap price. Located on the West Coast, near SF, but can utilize the Blais Express to easily get it elsewhere.

I agree. The mechanical parts for my machine came in a cigar box and it took a lot of head scratching to get it working. They can be rough on records no doubt. But this can be corrected by fiddling with the sloped tone arm control plate. It was fun trying to get my machine to work properly but hey, for $80 bucks I got educated on how a Brooks Repeating Phone works. :D

Wish I was closer to you (Va) I would definitely enjoy adding another Brooks machine to my collection. PM with the details. Cheers
