FOR SALE: various Columbia AZ parts

Post by jboger »

I bought a broken down Columbia AZ cylinder machine that is beyond restoring: No governor, no lid, no reproducer, no reproducer carriage, some screws missing, and the paint is shot. If the painted flowers were intact, then I might have thought to restore it, but they are a lost cause. But I do have a good mandrel, a good upper mandrel pulley, the lower pulley is also in good shape, lots of screws, all the gears are intact, and other stuff. I do want to keep the barrels because the mainsprings seem to be good. I don't know if this is a concern for people (it is for me), but you should feel guilt-free for using a part from this machine. It really is too far gone. If you are interested in a part, please send me a PM. I will send you a photograph and a price, that is, if I have the part. I do not gouge people because they need a part.

I just got home (8 pm est) so sorry about the delays in replying to people. I have had two enquiries about different parts. If two people ask about the same part, whoever emailed me first will have first choice. I will not offer the same item to different people at the same time to try to get a higher price. I dislike that.

Here are some parts no one has enquired about, the mandrel and the upper pulley, both in good shape. The mandrel has a loss of a little nickel on one end. It includes the small gear and the reverse threaded nut. The pulley is in great shape. The mandrel is $30 and the pulley is $15, both prices include shipping to anywhere in the continental US. If interested, just PM me.
