Missing Something?

Post by phonogfp »

Does 2017 feel as though something's been missing?

Could it be that you forgot to join the Antique Phonograph Society for 2017 and you're missing the articles & color photos of Multiphones, the first Brunswicks (in Edison cabinets), Edison's electrical whiz-kid William J. Hammer, Bettini advertising, two mystery Edison Phonographs, Victor's showrooms on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, new items reported by Steve Ramm, an Auxetophone sound box, the Ray Miller Orchestra, and more that appeared in the March 2017 issue (56 pages) of The Antique Phonograph?

Or are you missing the 15,000+ pages of documents on the APS online archive which span from January 1890 to the present?

Don't deny yourself any longer. Join your friends and colleagues who are supporting the growth of our hobby through the Antique Phonograph Society. You can join in about 2 minutes right here:

I have to second George's comments. I think everyone in the hobby should really be part of APS and if for no other reason than the excellent journal. Don't hold back if you have been considering joining but haven't gotten around to it. It's a bargain at $30 a year and the connections to people and new online information available is an invaluable resource we should all take advantage of. If you enjoy this forum you will definitely enjoy the APS website and archives. Really good stuff!

Actually, I was thinking it was my sanity that was missing. I have been trying to find it everywhere, but no dice. Then I read your post and realized... who needs sanity when you can just join APS instead???

Let me get through this "taxing" time and I'll pony up after. :D
