Thanks Dan... I bought a beat up old off brand floor model machine in 1988 and the next year I found a collector not far from here and bought a Fireside from him. I'm keep that one since it really got me hooked.

If anyone was interested in the Harvard model, the collector that was buying it decided to buy one of my other machines instead and it is now available. This is the only one I've every seen... You'd think they would be more commonly found since Sears and Roebuck sold them though mail order.

I actually have that Harvard, Model 3A, after looking for it a long time. I got obsessed with it after seeing it in those Sears catalog reprints. The cabinet is absolutely beautiful. I can't stress that enough, it's a great design. I'd buy it if I didn't already have one. And honestly, yours is only the second I've seen!
