Sounds great! Be sure to do a "grand tour" video once you are done!

That DD reproducer plays LOUD and CLEAR. I am glad it worked out well for you. You will have to post a video playing an electric Fox Trot with a vocal.
Glad to help with the reproducer.

I actually mentioned you in the video Ken but did not want to do it without asking so I cut it...

The reproducer is perfect and most of the records have a lot less static. Why is that?
Are they newer? better recording? played more?

I love this machine!
I have to pull the grill and finish sand it.. Then add some life to the cabinet finish...

What is a grand tour video?

A video explaining what the machine is, why it's different than other Diamond Disk machines, showing off features like the grained horn and detailed wood grain, etc.

I would recommend getting a copy of George Frow's book, "The Edison Disc Phonorgaphs and the Diamond Discs", published by Mulholland Press. It's the definitive work on the subject. I think it costs around $20 or $25.

I really enjoyed seeing a valuable phonograph such as the A300 looking and sounding so good. Thanks for posting.
