Need a little help does anyone know what this baby is

Post by Dedrums »

I picked this up from the show last weekend. The person who sold it to me said it was from Germany. I rebuilt the reproducer cleaned the wood up and changed the felt on the turntable. But still don't know what it is the only marking on it says the coliseum on the front. Thanks for the help in advance. I just hope I didn't get suckered into buying a frankenphone :(

Is that a knob on the cabinet in the 4th picture? If so, it is likely a frankenphone.

A button to open the top to get to the motor.

The knob in front is a latch to release the motor board to oil, and inspect the motor. It is a legitimate open horn machine. It's probably German, Swiss, or British. Nice machine.

Looks German. Probably a Parlophone.

Ask in the Euro forums... might be a Lindstrom.
