The other day I visited a small local museum in Pawhuska Oklahoma.
They had two open horn disk machines which had been thru a fire.
I got to talking with one of the curators about the phonographs, and he said that he would love to be able to demonstrate them to the groups that pass thru.
One was a Standard Talking Machine Model A, which needed a crank and escucheon.
The other was a "Humpback" Victor II, which needed a screw on crank.
I offered to do a sympathetic restoration on the two machines,
in other words, keep them grungy and dirty, but make them playable.
Anyone out there have the cranks that I would need?
The grungier the better, to match the machines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.M. or Email, Thank You,
Bob S.
