Here's a cabinet I picked up last year at Union. It has front-door detail that compliments the grill design.
It's also just deep enough to accommodate the Amberola V.
There are clips for cylinder boxes that are wide enough for Blue Amberols, but not for earlier boxes.
The three fold-down drawers hold 28 cylinders each.
I've found no manufacturer's markings.
I've seen these in mahogany also.

billybob62 wrote:phonogfp, Thank you. A record (cylinder?) cabinet would probably be best. The Amberola V is 22 inches deep, so where to find one is the rub. Yours looks just about perfect. :D
By the way, your collection is magnificent. :o

Thanks for the kind words, John. :) There's not much to see in the photo I posted, but there are additional photos posted over 7 years ago in this thread:

Seven years ago?! :o Time flies when you're having fun... In looking over those 2010 photos, I notice a few changes have occurred in the intervening years. I thought retirement would slow down my collecting...! :)

As for a proper cylinder record cabinet, if you're patient you'll find one. Going to shows like Union in June or the APS show in August might turn up just what you're looking for.

Bob's cabinet pictured above is a beauty!

John,

I could be your personal shopper at Union. If someone on the Forum has something you'd like and they could deliver to Union, I'll bring it back. Jerry Blais

Well, that's totally understandable.
