This French reproduction of the1878 Edison "Demonstration" Tinfoil Phonograph by E. Hardy was made for the centennial and has the brass sleeve on the steel mandrel just like the original, unlike most other reproductions that I have seen that have an all steel mandrel unlike the original. Making this one of the more accurate reproduction of this tin foil phonograph available.

The "Wizard of Menlo Park" is an interesting guy ... from his YouTube channel you can learn some unique ideas, like making a floor stand with PVC plumbing pipe or an Edison horn using a Crap-O-Phone horn, duct tape and a plastic funnel from WalMart...

Thanks to Jerry for helping to keep people honest.

I, too, have appreciated The Victrola Guy and think it was an honest mistake but he, for his own benefit, should recant his error, perhaps to this board.
I, also, have had a run-in with one of the more pompous people who "serve" this community. Most people are very helpful, but not all, but, we all make mistakes and apologizing does not lessen anyone's stature.
