I believe the seller also is on this group and reads but does not post much. It sometimes is a wise thing to do, i wish I could teach myself to be quiet.

This French reproduction of the1878 Edison "Demonstration" Tinfoil Phonograph by E. Hardy was made for the centennial and has the brass sleeve on the steel mandrel just like the original, unlike most other reproductions that I have seen that have an all steel mandrel unlike the original. Making this one of the more accurate reproduction of this tin foil phonograph available.

Thanks to Jerry for helping to keep people honest.

I, too, have appreciated The Victrola Guy and think it was an honest mistake but he, for his own benefit, should recant his error, perhaps to this board.
I, also, have had a run-in with one of the more pompous people who "serve" this community. Most people are very helpful, but not all, but, we all make mistakes and apologizing does not lessen anyone's stature.
