Re: Edison Triumph with Oak Music Master horn
Hello,
I would think that a nice oak horn Triumph model B with 2/4 minute gearing and a horizontal carriage with a diamond B reproducer would be worth around $2000 in todays market. If it were a later model such as a D2 with an "O" reproducer that it would be worth around $2500. If the condition of the machines were pristine then you would expect to pay a small premium above these prices. Two years ago at Union one of the vendors had a pair of oak horn model B's for sale at $2800 each and both sold.
