Oops! Just realized that I don't have to crank up the computer to listen. :lol:

I had a similar problem when attempting to listen to cylinders on the pc. My monitor does not appear to have a place to attach the horn. :monkey:

I always change the steel needle on the Victrola prior to clicking on a Youtube video of a Victor record. That's because you're supposed to change the needle before listening to the record. As a result, the sound doesn't deteriorate no matter how often I listen.
