I think this Edison Army-Navy saw some REAL action. The 314th Batallion was over in France and saw the majority of its action there in WW1. At one point in 1918, Half of the Regimen was wiped out in an offensive.

I've always had a question about how these Edison Army & Navy Diamond Disc Machine's outer cases were painted originally on the outer wood portions. Were they brush painted Green by the factory, Roller painted, or sprayed possibly??!

Would anyone know??
