WANTED: phono books!

Post by EdisonWizard »

If you have some extra phono related books, and would like to pass them on, I would love to buy them for a good price. Being rather young, I want to expand my knowledge and carry on for some of the older guys out there! :-P I have the edison companion hard cover book and of course The Compleat Talking Machine, along with a bunch of radio books I got when I started collecting about 10 years ago (when I was 18 lol). I recently joined APS, and love their articles, but I do love laying on the couch reading and looking through them with my 8mo. Let me know what you have!

Thanks for the reply! I don't really have a "want list" per se because I'm not really familiar with any of the books that have been produced besides a couple I have seen on google. I'd love to hear what you have!

Arguably the most comprehensive series of illustrated books were published by Fabrizio and Paul, and in my opinion, they are an indispensable part of any serious collector's library.

I've read about those! Very cool books from what I've seen. I saw them on phonophans website, and I want to order some but wanna wait till I can order them all at once for shipping, unless I find them cheaper from someone with no use anymore.

If you're not careful, phonograph books can become quite addicting!

Our very own Forum member, George Paul, is the co-author of these wonderful books. I'd suggest that you contact him directly. If you say "please" he will even autograph his books. :D
