FOR SALE: Edison Standard D Lid Labels-NEW-2 for $20 Shipped

Post by Curt A »

For sale: Reproduction CHANGE OF REPRODUCERS labels for Standard Model D. Minor adjustments have been made to the original image shown below, as recommended by Brandon, so the labels will be an almost perfect reproduction of the original Edison labels. PM me to purchase. Payment by PayPal friends & family, cash, check or money order accepted. I also accept original Confederate currency, if you happen to have any laying around....

No copyright logo will be on them... in case you are wondering.

2 for $20 on remaining inventory...

That is an excellent deal for all the hard work that went into this. Curt and I corresponded with each other discussing the most realistic approach to this. Great job Curt.

Very nice work there, Curt. I've recreated a couple of early labels from scratch just as you did here, and I can attest to the fact that it's a lot of work to get it right.

Have you seen any other versions of these with dates different than 9-10-08? I don't believe I have.

That is one of those little details that slip right by when looking at a machine, so I haven't noticed. After this project, I am becoming familiar with the layout, etc. so now I will be looking...

Also, I am thinking of reproducing the labels from the bottom of machines... most seem to have been damaged over time, so I would need copies of clear originals... IF there is any interest.

OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE: If you need one or several of these and don't want to part with cash, I will take trades... Send me a PM of something you would trade that is a duplicate, no longer needed or that you can't remember why you have it... WE'RE DEALING... Easy terms... Examples: records, cylinders, needle tins, reproducers, stereoviews/viewers, record dusters, phono doodads, whatever...

Upgrade your Standard D case and get rid of some junk you don't need... :D

Great job Curt. It would be interesting to see other labels made avaible. Also how hard would this be to modify to a home machine.. How abut the BIG E used in Edison standard E machines to cover the reproducer label. Just some suggestions. Speaking of school passes How are you on handicap passes   :geek: Tom B

It wouldn't be hard, assuming that they are basically the same except for the model description. Is the form number the same?
