Hi all,
I have an Edison 1 A serial number 2940 which does not always lift the stylus far enough to remove it from the record. I saw the write up on this problem but my machine does not have the flat spring in the back like the one photographed. I can push push up on the lever and it will lift the stylus. What does the lift lever pivot on is it the pin that the brush is mounted on? Before I try to remove it, is the pin tapered or just a snug fit. Any and all input is welcome.
Thank you all kindly for any help you may have to offer.
Allen

Thank you HisMastersVoice,
I had read that post but reread it and put an oiled slip of paper on the lift lever surface and the bottom of the reproducer lift hook and it works fine now. Again, thank you for your input. Instructions to my self (When at first it does not work, reread the instructions stupid!)
Thanks,
Allen
