Hello, Fellow Phonograph Enthusiasts! (with Jussi Bjorling)

Post by transformingArt »

I just found this fabulous forum site few days ago, and it is quite fascinating to read all of the entries in here.
(It took me several hours to read all, but I made it anyway........ :) )

Nice to see you all of you!

Mark (Ji-Hoon Suk - Pronounced 'Seok' - from South Korea)

Here's my YouTube video that I posted a year ago. I play one of my favorite record, "Nessun Dorma!" from Puccini's "Turandot", sung by Jussi Bjorling in 1944, on HMV 102 portable player. I have couple of more phonographs and Numark PT-01 turntable, but anyway, hope you can enjoy this! (* Although, I think some of you have seen this before.)

And here's the very HMV 102 machine, playing Elena Gerhardt's singing of Hugo Wolf song.

Hello Mark & welcome to the board.
Thanks for sharing this Jussi Bjorling classic. It's one of my personal Bjorling favorites. He really has a magnificent voice, and it comes through well on you HMV 102.
