SOLD: Edison Triumph D with #11 Cygnet horn - $850

Post by Damfino59 »

Model D Triumph with attic worn original finish. Has diamond B reproducer and record brush installed. Bedplate still has gloss but the pinstripe is maybe 60-75%. Looks like it has the original crane with repro hardware.
Strong motor and I do believe it has been regreased In the spring barrels. This was a Union purchase a few years back. It doesn't get used as much as my smaller Edison's so I think it's time to free up some space and let one of my other machines in storage take it's place.
This can be delivered to Union.
Cylinder cabinet is not included.
Thanks for looking,
Glenn

I was curious, did you polish the mandrel and such? My fireside has a cloudy looking mandrel, and I got some flitz, but curious if I should use a buffing wheel or not. Also, consider trades??

I am not interested in trades. I'm downsizing the phono collection. I'm more of a record collector who likes playing the records on period machines. As for the mandrel I did not polish it at all. That is the way I got it. Flitz is a good polish, as for machine buffing I always on the side of doing it by hand. Less chance of messing things up.

Thanks,
Glenn

Would you be willing to ship the machine? Maybe via Greyhound?

This is an incredible deal for someone! I wish I could make this happen for myself. Sadly, not this year...

Good luck with the sale,
