"The Victor Victrola Revere 2666 was an Orthophonic phonograph with an unusually large cabinet and the distinct feature of a downward pointing horn. This phonograph was styled like a large buffet, with long turned legs and a boxy cabinet with the phonogaph mechanism sitting right at eye level when the front door was dropped open. Rather than facing forward, as was always done with Victrola horns, the horn's opening faced the floor. It is believed that Victor was attempting to use acoustical floor reflections to give a more spread-spatial effect to the reproduction. An estimated total of 3,035 Victrola Revere's were produced, making it among the rarest of the Orthophonic models. It was discontinued in late 1926. Gold plated hardware and a 2-spring motor were used in this model."
This beautiful unit has been in my family for 4 generations, since its initial purchase. There are 5 original cases, which are very worn, that hold 10 albums in each that are stored inside the Victrola. I also have 44 additional loose albums, some in original sleeves, making a total of 94 albums! Only a couple of the albums have small nicks on the edges, but most are in very good condition. I also have extra needles in an original Victrola tin. The cabinet is all original and in good condition. There is a crack in the Reproducer which you can see in one of the pictures, but it does still play. This is an amazing piece of furniture which has given my family almost 100 years of enjoyment.
Located in Weaverville, NC which is 15 minutes north of Asheville, NC. Asking $1200. Thank you.

A very nice example of a fine machine. However, I think the price is probably about twice what I would consider paying for it, especially given the condition of the reproducer.

Just another tip. When selling a machine, don't use an identical copy of information you've found on the Victor-Victrola Page. It's unprofessional, and frowned upon by the collector's community.

I inherited this unit from my mom after she passed a few years ago. I wanted to keep it because of the nostalgia, but I really don't have a place for it, and I'm not a collector. I feel it is time for me to let go of it and pass it on to someone who will appreciate the beauty of it. I am happy to entertain offers.
Thank you,
Deborah

This is a nice machine. However, in this market, it's probably worth about $600 or so.

I had one of these. Peter Wall rebuilt the non-cracked reproducer. I sold it back in 2015 for $500 in near mint playing condition.
