More Rescues - Barn Fresh
Today we rescued several phonographs, 2 Edison Diamond Discs, 1 Victrola, the Brunswick mentioned in my other post and a savable Columbia Horn. They are rusty, crusty & dusty, but over the winter, I will get them functioning and fine them good homes with beginning collectors.

Rescuing phonographs from the dump is a great way to spend your time. I fear that most people would see these machines as garbage. Some TLC will bring them back to life again. Thanks for posting this.

The Columbia horn is the right horn that is needed for that Columbia BI, on the thread pertaining to the Horned Columbia.

From what dump does one get phonographs from? I'd like to take a trip sometime soon!

Not a dump, but they have spent many years in a barn in Illinois! I have always been a rescuer, which is why I have more projects than time.

If you want to "rescue" another A100, I have one in oak available. It needs a crank and reproducer and some veneer gluing. You did a great job on the Victrola 4-3 and I am sure that you could do the same with this one. The price is right...FREE.
