Silvertone identification

Post by cmk8895 »

Where does one locate the model number on a Silvertone? I picked up a "junker" machine that may be able to be restored, but it's mising the tonearm, reproducer, needle cups, and crank. It's gold tone, which is kinda nice, and the internal horn is at the bottom of the cabinet. Kinda strange.

It doesn't look all that old, but I can't find a model plate anywhere.

Pics to come later once I see if I can figure out what it is myself.

Thanks!

Matthew

If you post a picture, there are some members that could tell you off the top of their mind. I'd suggest taking a few and putting them up.

Yeah. I was hoping to learn my way into it instead of someone just giving me the answer.

Two posts have pics of this model until I get mine up:

And this one from very recent that I just found (page 2 has the pics):

I'll get pics on mine up after some cleaning.
