WANTED "That Dallas Man" by Isham Jones On victor & other
Curious if anyone has this record and is willing to part with it. Also looking for "pardon my southern accent" by Don mayfield orchestra on Victor bluebird. Message me if you have one and are willing to sell. Thanks - Jake

Last copy of that I tried to snag on eBay went for almost $90. I have a copy in V+ condition and have been looking for another myself. Jones's band could swing with the very best of 'em, IMHO.

Must be the same one I was outbid on . Jones best records are from 1932/33 in my opinion!

Agree completely. Just got a copy of "Just Born to be Lonesome," which is wonderful. Joe Martin does the vocal on that one as well as "That Dallas Man." Also got a Decca from 1933-4 of "Dallas Blues" by Jones that is superb -- but the record is annoyingly off centerJschub10 wrote:Must be the same one I was outbid on . Yeah, mine's V-, and most of the other dozens of his Victors in my collection are at least E-! It's a hard one to find in nice shape.
