Inside is a repair label indicating that the motor was overhauled in 1928 at the same Knight Campbell Co. This is an early IX with the piano hinges on the door, and the early Vic III type motor with wide gear spacing. I believe it would date around 1911-12... meaning that 16 years or so later, the dealer was still willing to do the motor service on it and warranty their work for 6 months! That's good customer service! Of course the label specifically states that spring breakage was not covered.
Just thought I'd share this interesting label-- It's the first one I've come across.
