FOR SALE - Edison Gem Model B NEW SPRING! - £150

Post by 12jslater »

s-l1600.jpg
I am reluctantly selling an Edison gem project that is half complete as I have the opportunity of purchasing a Columbia rear mount machine and need the little bit of extra money so I am selling a couple of machines

As it is a project is has a couple of minor problems which can be sorted out very quickly, first of all the governor gear is badly worn meaning the machine is reluctant to run and the base has a chunk missing from the rear left corner however this has been squared off so a new piece of wood could be fitted in place(originally my plan.

It has had a new spring fitted and when tried with a governor shaft from my other gem played 2 and a half 2 minute cylinders. Lid is also missing.

£10 p&p

with all respect the spring was purchased for £50 not less than a week ago, with a new governor it runs fantastically.
