Serial #672 makes this a very early 1911 model, and it has a gunmetal mandrel which was only used on the early ones. It is in 100% original condition, the finish and bedplate are excellent. The Music Master horn is also in original condition, and the elbow does have some paint loss as it has not been repainted, but still retains much of the paint. The machine comes with either a Diamond A or a Model L reproducer, both rebuilt by Steve Medved last year (they sound great, naturally). You could have them both for an additional cost. The machine runs and plays beautifully. There isn't much more I can say about it, the photos will speak for themselves. I do have many more detailed photos available on request. Operas in this condition that haven't been "restored" are hard to come by, there isn't much to disappointed by with this one. I can transport the machine to the Wayne this weekend or the Fall Stanton Auction, or we can arrange alternate means of transport. Price is firm.
