Well, old age and need for replacement spares caught up with me, I had knee replacement surgery this week and am on house arrest until end of October. I’ll have to send my assistant instead.

Hi Jim (Columbia 78) Things start pretty early in the parking lot and pick up through the morning-- There will be folks set up shortly after daylight with others continuing to arrive over the next few hours. Your drive is almost the same as mine, so plan about 5 hours plus a breakfast stop. Hope to see you Saturday-

I think it's a go as of now. I think I'm an hour closer than you are to Wayne. Wishfully thinking anyway. I hope to get there around 9. I'll have to settle for Saturday only most likely, I have to go see my daughter in Brooklyn and get back home late Saturday night. I may bring one of the Edison Standards you worked on in case I can work a trade for something with someone.

Well given it's a 9 hour 10 minute flight and that I've burned all my vacation allotment for the year I'm forced to pass.
