SAVED VE 4-4 Granada Electric Victrola

Post by pellicano1 »

Was able to rescue this VE 4-4 Granada! Luckily electric motor works like a charm. Had to rebuild the Orthophonic Reproducer. All the bearing balls were missing along with the gaskets. Also had to repair the platter break. An overall hit with liquid gold and brought her finish right out! Only thing left is to put the feet back together for which I may be missing a few pieces!

Paid $40 from Facebook Marketplace!

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

I bet that thing sounds great. Wonderful score at $40 and it cleaned up really well.

Congratulations. It's a keeper!

I have one just like this except mine has an under-the-lid light that turns on and off as the lid opens and closes.

Nice! Wonder if this was an option? After all only 19,860 of these electrics were made.
