"HELLO MONTREAL" by Arthur Fields and His Assassinators
SHINY EXCELLENT CONDITION and PLAYS VERY LOUD AND CLEAR start to finish. Only detraction is one small edge split that comes close to but does not touch any recorded grooves. In other words, the entire recording plays beautifully with no clicks whatsoever from the tiny split with careful placing of the reproducer.
This is a FANTASTIC COMIC PROHIBITION cylinder recording filled with lots of great early sound effects and a REALLY JAZZY arrangement with wonderful VOCALS BY ARTHUR FIELDS! If you've never heard this Edison recording, do yourself a favor and listen to it on YouTube. The comic song is devoted to the attractive venture of moving up to Montreal (Canada) where there is NO PROHIBITION and one can drink alcohol as you wish!

The Edison electrically recorded Diamond Disc version of "HELLO MONTREAL" is VERY difficult to find but the Edison Blue Amberol version is almost impossible to find.
I have included the original Edison Blue Amberol box AND lid with an excellent copy of the original TITLED LABEL!
PM with interest. USPS Media Mail shipping is extra.
Thanks.
