Wanted: Edsison Standard parts
I need a reproducer carriage and a crank. Also I think this must be a model A since there is no indication of a model, is that true?

Do you need a slotted crank (Model A) or a threaded crank (Model B)?

If it takes a threaded crank and is a two minute machine it's a Model B Standard. Any threaded crank from a Fireside, Standard B (or later), or Home B (or later) will work. Ron Sitko or Musical Americana will sell you a good replacement for, I'm guessing, about $35. I would expect to pay about twice that for a good original. Jerry

The carriages and cranks will vary among some Edison Standard models. If you post a good photo or two, we can identify your model. Or, you can determine which model you have by checking out this excellent article on the Antique Phonograph Society web site:

Does it have the speed control above the bedplate? That would indicate a Model A (unless it's an ICS machine).
