Our 'off-brand' list indicates Embassy was from Babson Bros., Chicago.

A quick google search found this little tidbit from http://www.surgemilker.com:

Three brothers, Henry, Fred, and Gus Babson formed Babson Brothers Company in Chicago- a catalog mail order company much like Sears or JC Penny. Henry was friends with Thomas Edison and they sold the Edison Phonograph, Babson Records, Burlington watches, clothing, shoes, and farm supplies.

There is similar info on wikipedia about Henry Babson. So, this could have been an 'in-house' brand made for this company to sell with their name on it. Probably made in the early twenties.

Here is a picture of an Embassy upright-

I have a embassy that someone had changed some parts. Was looking somewhere I could find parts.

Unfortunately, eBay seems to be the go to place for parts. That and looking for "beater" machines with trashed cabinets on craigslist.

Also, you may have some luck in the Yankee Trader section of this forum.

Good luck.

Don't forget that there are a number of professional repair guys with vast inventories of parts - including those for off brand machines. The Antique Phonograph Society routinely refers people to the following suppliers:
