It reminds me of a Victor Monarch Deluxe in many ways.
I believe this was made by Odeon and was one of their top of the line models. The motor is also massive and heavy. I wondering with this was a special exhibition display model to show off their skills..? I love the solid nickel bead rod screwed down along the motor board and nickel strips at the bottom of each side.alang wrote:Wow, that is very impressive! Congratulations! Any idea about the maker?
Thanks

Thank you for the information. This would explain the markings I found on the sound box container and bottom of the case.epigramophone wrote:Perfect for playing expensive 14" Fonotipias which, along with Odeon machines such as this, were produced by the Lindstrom group of companies.gramophone78 wrote:For scale....the turntable is 14" in diameter.
