SOLD - Victor Oak Horn (Damaged) - $150

Post by brianu »

This arrived in the mail, terribly damaged, not too long ago... I have no use for it, so selling for parts or possible repair. It's for a VV-XXV schoolhouse machine. As you can see, the damage is primarily to the bell area... the collar is good. I can bring this to the Wayne show in April. Otherwise, postage would be extra. If interested, send me a message or email brianu73 at hotmail.

Might you be able to give me the distance from the edge of the horn to the center of the decal?

Also, where is the decal located with respect to the pin on the collar?

I think the pin is at the 12 o clock position on the elbow, so was the decal upside down on the crank side then??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bob

I'll take a closer look at the horn when I get home tonight. Bear in mind, I never even had the opportunity to view this in person all set up because, unfortunately, this is how (despite some otherwise decent packing) this arrived at my house.

Sold... on its way west to restore two other damaged schoolhouse horns... semi-happy ending.

Were you able to get me those dimensions?

No hurry, just a friendly reminder.

Thanks, Bob
