Mystery Sonora
Anyone know what model machine this is, when it was made, if it has some version of an exponential horn, etc.?

Re: Mystery Sonora
Rather late model after 1925 to try and compete with the Orthophonic line.

According to R.J. Wakeman's 246-page book, Sonora Phonographs (posted to the Antique Phonograph Society's web site), that's the $95 Sonora "Prelude," introduced in 1926. Members can see this illustrated on page 87 of the book.

It's as art deco as all get out. I'd gladly collect those kinds of phonos--count yourself lucky on a swell find.
