Wanted: 4 minute cylinders, Foxtrots, Wild Irish rose...

Post by OldRestorer »

Hello all,
I am looking for some real fun 4 minute cylinders. I love a good foxtrot so if anyone has some please let me know.
I will take 2 minute if it is a really really good one ;)

I am also looking for "My Wild Irish Rose". I had it but it cracked long ago.

Thanks,
Kirk

Kirk I had two tables of cylinders at the Wayne Show. Did you look through them when you were there? I know there were fox trots in there. You can always come over to my house in Linden, NJ and go through them. I’m about 5 min from the Goethals Bridge. Plus you can take a drawing of my Amberola III shelf.

Yeah I know Rich,
I had to leave early due to my back and legs. I wanted to stay and play but I would not have made it home if I had stayed longer..
I thank you for the offer and I would love to visit but my body is not doing very well right now.
I will definitely take a rain check.

:)

I have the first recording made of "My Wild Irish Rose," as sung by Chauncey Olcott, the composer. However, it's on an acoustical Columbia 78. Not in too bad of shape--I think there's a lam crack that you can't hear and the grooves are shiny. PM me if you're interested.
