SOLD: Edison #10 Cygnet bell

Here is a #10 Cygnet bell I found this afternoon. Paint is good, except for a couple of scratches on the outside, which can be touched up. Decals are good. Asking $75 or best offer, plus shipping. Check preferred: PM me.

Looks like the future ads will read will pay someone to take my Edison Fireside with original horn , crane and O reproducer ! lets see how low we can get our investments !!! I have a better idea give it away and pay for shipping!!

That was a great deal. I just finished repainting a cygnet horn in much, much worse condition than this. I paid about the same for the bell. This forum can be funny, such low prices lately—and yet go on eBay and common parts sell for crazy high prices.

Personally call me a conspiracy theorist but I think it is a networking sham of individuals trying and succeeding at lowballing values ! I’m not buying into it!

Yup... 'crack pipe pricing' is how I refer to a lot of things on eBay.

The prices here lately are actually downright scary since, at least to me, this seems more 'real world'.

To be honest, I was worried I would be highballing it, and trying to make too much of a profit. I'll be making a profit, anyway...

PS: Incidentally, the fellow I bought it from said he should be getting some more horns later in the week. I'll check that out.
