Hello!
I'm looking for the brake and speed control for a Columbia BN Graphophone--mine is missing.
Anybody have leads? I'm fine with a project piece if the price is right.
Also, I need the screw numbers for an Edison Standard phonograph--little bolts to hold the feedscrew covers on, as well as the big screws that hold the bedplate down to the frame. My Model E is missing those.

The bolts to hold the feed screw sleeve are 5-40 about ½" long. It's been a while since I measured these. The screws to hold the bed plate to the frame are #6 round headed slotted wood screws, ½" long. To get the correct black/blue color is to use Birchwood Casey gun blue. Any good gun shop will carry that. An original push-pull speed control with plunger brake is a difficult part to find, and in high demand. I'm not sure if repros are available. Check with Ron Sitko.

Thanks, Harvey!
I was asking because I ended up buying Jerry B's little BN project. Now I have a BK and a BN but the BN isn't here yet. I don't know whether to go to Union or to have it shipped.
Need that plunger though...I did see one on eBay but it was from a guy who had parted out a perfectly good one. He made that bed and he can go lay in it; I'm not going to be part of that.

In case you don't know this already, there are several lengths of those brakes. Be careful which one you buy.

Hi- Once you get the machine from Jerry, let me know what length speed control you need. I have a couple in my parts box. Maybe we'll have a winner. I'm slowly selling off all my Columbia parts-- Downsizing a bit (at least that's what I've told my wife!)
