Cleaned up the Amberola 30

Post by antique1973 »

Did the usual Kotton Klenser, Howards treatments. I couldn't get to the
dust on the inside bottom part due to the horn in the way. I am going to
pull the spring soon so I will take care of that when the time comes.
The one where its sitting on the trunk is the "before" pic. :)

Very nice, the cabinet is in great shape. It always amazes me how easy it is to bring a machine back with only a little elbow grease. Great job!
Why do we need signatures when we are on a first avatar basis?

Thanks Brad, I was lucky this one was not in too bad shape to begin with.
Just some dirty areas and minor scratches. If I have time I will pull the
spring out and re-grease it this weekend. The motor looks real simple
and with one spring it should be pretty straight forward. :)
