I received the following email and thought I'd post it here. If interested, please email the owner, Pat Bowers, below. I assume the phonograph is located in Oregon.

Subject: Edison phonograph
Just found your websight & really enjoyed all of the information about your phonograph as I have a 1923 chippendale console phonograph. The book that came with it has 16 pictures of different modles, including yours . also lists alot of pages of record titles . There is also another book of instructions & a packing slip with serial no. & other numbers. I became the proud owner of this in 1957 . It came from a music store in Rosebug, Ore. owned by a distant relative for years. I also have around 170 records, some never been played . Some in jackets & some not. Some tattered jackets. I want to sell it,as I'm 80 years old living in an apartment & need to part with it. I would appreciate it if you could lead me to
anyone who might be interested in buying it .I have a list of the records. Thanking you in advance.

Re: Edison Chippendale Console phonograph for sale
so you have a web site, with an edison phono on it, and through that site someone emailed you out of the blue about another edison and a bunch of records they're selling, so you signed up to this forum just to post that email here?
... just haven't seen a for-sale listing quite like that before. where's your site?

This presentation is indeed different. Whether you care for its presentation or not, it is possible to learn something from it. Mysterious does not equal suspect and a google search yields information...
