This is the 17 I posted two weeks ago on this forum that is on CL in the Boston area.I still think it's a great deal "IF" your in the area.IMO

that's definitely a good deal, a XVII for 300. but some sellers can be quirky... I've always thought "or best offer" basically implied that the person's hoping for the asking price, but willing to consider fair offers for less. but the "best offer over 300" in this ad sounds more like an auction.

Yeah- that seller is definitely trying to attract attention with the $300 price but has no intention of selling it for that figure. I flagged the ad.

Guys, the seller is OK.They were hoping for 500.00.However,if they can get something between 3-5 that's where they are at.They sent me nice pics.It has the horn and key,etc.....just the binders are gone and that is very normal.I did tell them that I mentioned it here for collectors.They thanked me for that.It was in his family from new.They just don't have the room for it.If I lived near there I would buy it ASAP.Although,I have one.Boy,you guys are a tough crowd..... :lol:
