I think there are no threads because the shaft has probably been broken off right behind the knob. I might have a knob for it somewhere.

But again: Anybody have any idea of the model? Instruction manual? What that number means? A key? Any info at all? Also, anybody have a pic of the correct grill cloth color?

Congrats, Marty! That's a real beauty, especially in Oak. All Brunswicks I've ever seen / owned using a volume control arrangement like yours have a metal knob that just threads on the end.
