Yes. He will have it. Great guy to do business with.
Sounds good! But I have other questions about him.

-Is he very busy?

- Does he have other people working for him or does he do this alone?

- Is he available during weekends?

Ron has a separate workshop and he is pretty busy but he will always make time to take your order and answer phonograph questions. If you receive his telephone answering machine message (recorded by his wife) when you call just call back later or leave a message. :)

He has no other people working for/with him.

Not usually but he will answer that question for sure when you call.

Good luck!

Ok! I’m very excited to talk with him. All I need to do is to get my dad to quit being skeptical. And that he’s not gonna try any funny business.

(BTW I love your YouTube videos. The one where the guy recorded over the Uncle Josh record with bad trombone playing was so funny!)

:) Good to hear that you enjoy my videos. It's always nice to get feedback on them. Once you speak with Ron on the phone all of your concerns (and your Dad's) will be put to rest. Ron is as honest as you'll ever find in anyone. The fact that he packs and ships his parts before getting any payment serves as a testament to his honesty and trust in others. Ron should be home this week but keep in mind that I believe he also heads south to Orlando, Florida for the phonograph show in later January. But you should be able to catch him on the phone before he goes. ;)

Ok I’ll tell him I need a mandrel bearing, gear cover, and a set of proper screws to screw the top works in the cabinet. I’ll see what happens on Wednesday night.

Btw how long in 1911 did they make this model? And did they make these into 1912? Also there’s remnants of a sticker on the bottom. Does anybody know what that sticker said?

Your wish is my command....

This is what the Decal you were curious about looked like...

This one is right from a Standard "E" just like yours.. It was a pretty common Decal of the time and appeared on other machines as well and this one in particular was very "Generic" to do just that.

Here's a similar one from a 1914 Amberola machine.. Not sure of what model...

You can see just two years later that the Decal was lengthened with more copyright mumbo jumbo..

Thanks Tony! Could you perhaps tell me the serial number of your machine so I can possibly date mine?
