Does eBay count? Or do you have to buy while in the state?

Doesn't matter how you found it, just where it came from into your collection. But how you found it ---is an interesting topic in itself. Now most finds for anything are with the computer, when I started collecting---it was at shows, antique shops, placing ads in--- MAPS, CAPS, The NEW AMBEROLA GRAPHIC, other publications, and word of mouth. The good old days, when shipping was more affordable to go after machines too.

Most of my finds are from here in eastern Nebraska since we don’t have deep enough pockets or the time to travel. My VV 2-55 came from Georgia (but didn’t survive very well. Lid catch and record holder are still broken.) My Columbia Q came from Missouri. And my Edison Standard E came from Illinois!
