Here you go, Paul. I took these at Union in 2004 when you had it on display. It looked amazing and sounded great.

Edisonclassm, you did an incredible job, truly extraordinary. Now, that is my favorite machine ever!
TinfoilPhono, thank you very much for posting the above photos.
Getting back to the CW VV-230...Paul Edie from Victor-Victrola.com has stated that mine made the 6th one in his data base. Where there are four CW VV-230s (serial numbers 1015, 1017, 1033, & 1041) and two CW VE-230s (serial numbers 1401 & 1410). Also that there are 999 total 230s with two of them being Oak. Currently there is a grand total of over 180,000 machines in his data base. Paul Edie also indicated that he has written a detailed article regarding the Victrola survival database for the March issue of the Antique Phonograph Society.

Thanks Rene,
The people who own this machine now hosted an open house for the annual meeting for MBSI(Music Box Society International) this summer. I helped them with demonstrating their machines and this one was a favorite with the MBSI members! One of my better achievments.

The VV-330 I used to own is also somewhere in Canada. I have no idea where. Maybe somebody out there knows?

Looks like Circassiqn walnut to me. You'd think Victor was long past using Circassian but sometimes they did particularly for a milestone serial number. Just for fun, what is the serial number of your Victrola?

My VV-230 is not the machine that you asked about, but I added it here for reference. Maybe some later Circassian Walnut machines did mark milestones, but mine seems to have an unremarkable serial number, 3568. It is a VV-230, and definitely Circassian Walnut.Jerry B. wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 9:52 am Looks like Circassiqn walnut to me.
