Wanted: Columbia AH Motor (centre crank) and 14" travelling

Post by SydneyAde »

Hello

I'm chasing a motor for an early front mount fancy cased centre crank AH Columbia Graphophone (pic attached).

I'm also after the travelling arm for this machine, which I believe is approx 14" long - non filigree type (pic attached)

Thanks
Ade :)

Hi Chris

That is mighty decent of you, thank you!!

I've attached a pic of the cabinet, just to be sure.

Again, I'm very appreciative, thank you again.

chrisg, if you run across a motor for the earlier Columbia AH let me know. It is the one that is the off-center crank.
Thanks!

Hi again Chris

That fancy cased AH in your pic looks to be a different motor to the one in my pic at first glance?

I could be wrong, though the one I'm chasing has a cast iron bedplate mounted under the lid, whereas
the one in the pic looks to have a sheet steel bedplate mounted on top of the lid?

I'd love to be wrong and will await until you've looked at it.

Regards
Ade
