FOR SALE: VV-XVI "L" Door

Post by cweastlick »

A great looking L door with a rebuilt reproducer, working lock with key, all polished, and cleaned. If you want more pictures please let me know. I'd be happy to work with you on delivery within 200 miles of Cincinnati. I can hold it until you're ready or if you want to ship it you'll have to make arrangement with a shipper. Price is $550. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That’s a beautiful “L Door”! Good price and someone needs to buy this. I have a L Door and it is my primary machine! It is a workhorse, has the nice three spring motor, gold plated hardware. I enjoy every moment of my L-Door!

Good luck with the sale.

I can personally vouch that the lock works

Seriously though, great machine! I hope it finds a great home. Every collection should have a nice L-door such as this one. They're classy and sound great.

Beautiful machine. Is it a C? The price is right; sadly, I live much more than 200 miles from Concinnati.

Does anyone know how much a complete set of original lettered record boxes would add to the value of an L-Door?

It looks great. They are still very popular. Is the finish original?

I had to let my first L door go when we had to make room for my father. I have since replaced it with a 1911 Oak L door, and hope to never be without one again. If you weren’t so far away I would be considering L door bookends, one Mahogany and one Oak. My wife wouldn’t understand, but most forum members would.

Good luck with the sale. Someone will get a good deal.
