Slightly O/T: Victor Electrola Banner Value

Post by gemering »

I was recently offered this banner.
Can someone here tell me about its collectability and approximate value.
I've asked the seller for its dimensions.
If I decide to take it, I want to make a fair offer to the seller and be fair to myself too.

Thanks,
Gene

Russie,
As mentioned, I have asked the seller for the dimensions.
I am awaiting his response.
I'll update the post when I know.

This would have advertised the Micro-Synchronous line of 1929-30.

I would agree, 1929-1930. The one I have is about 44" wide and 68" long with a gold color fringe at the bottom.
I thought it was a very interesting piece to add to my collection. Sorry about the lighting in the picture.

Jeff,

The banner that is being offered to me has the same dimensions as the one you have (approx. 44 X 68).

I would value it at about $250, depending on overall condition.
